Temperature surfing is a smart drying method where Plugger slowly increases and decreases the temperature inside your fridge. This process triggers dehumidification by using the fridge's cooling element, helping to remove excess moisture from your buds.
When the temperature drops, moisture condenses on the cooling elements of your fridge. This condensation is then drained through the fridge's built-in drainage hole and evaporated by the hot compressor or thermoelectric elements outside the fridge.
Plugger's intelligent algorithm creates a controlled cycle that removes moisture gradually while maintaining ideal conditions for your cannabis.
Plugger features a smart calibration mode that learns your specific fridge's behavior. It adapts its algorithms to work optimally with any refrigerator model, whether it's a mini-fridge, full-size, or wine cooler.
The Optimal Temperature Range for Mold Growth:
Typically, mold prefers temperatures between 68°F (20°C) and 86°F (30°C). Within this range, mold spores are more likely to germinate and develop into visible mold colonies.

While the air temperature in your fridge cycles up and down, the temperature of your buds changes very little due to their thermal inertia (they warm up and cool down slowly).
This means your cannabis experiences a stable temperature environment, while still benefiting from the dehumidification effect of temperature cycling.
